As a budget device, Samsung has opted for a Mediatek Helio G85 SoC for the Galaxy A05. This 4G silicon features two Cortex A-75 cores clocking at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.8GHz. This upgrade will significantly provide a major performance boost over the Helio P35 found on the A04.
Memory-wise, you get 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable internal storage. And booting the phone is OneUI Core edition built on top of Android 13.
On the optics side, the Galaxy A05 sports a dual camera setup. It is headlined by a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensing unit. Over on the front, you get an 8MP snapper for selfies and taking video calls.
