The Realme Narzo N53 bears a boxy form factor with flat frames. The device comes in a “California Sunshine Design” with shower-like texture patterns with 400nm thick gradient coating. You can choose between “Feather Gold” and “Feather Black” colors.
Measuring just 7.49mm thick, the Narzo N53 is the thinnest Realme phone ever. Its iPhone-like camera module has caught our eye as well. Other than that, the button placements here are pretty standard.
The phone sports a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with FHD resolution and peak brightness of 450 nits. Although the display looks outdated because of the waterdrop notch, it packs relatively new features such as the 90Hz refresh rate. Also, its bezels look slim for a budget phone.
It’s the Tiger T612 processor from Unisoc that’s powering everything from the inside. This is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can expand the former up to 12GB using virtual RAM technology, whereas Realme offers a dedicated SD card slot for storage up to 2TB.
The Realme Narzo N53 boots on Realme UI T skin on top of Android 13.The phone supports Mini Capsule that displays important data like battery status, data usage, and daily steps. Similar to what you get on the new iPhone 14 Pro series.
Camera
The phone features a dual camera setup on the rear side. The primary unit here is a 50MP shooter accompanied by an unspecified secondary lens. It could either be a 2MP depth or a 2MP macro sensor. Over on the front, the waterdrop notch houses an 8MP selfie camera.
Fueling the smartphone is a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Realme has advertised it to fill up to 50% in 34 minutes. Other specs of the Narzo N53 include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
