Design, Display

Oppo A57 4G sports a 6.56-inch display with a water-drop notch for the selfie camera. It is an IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. 

The phone is listed to have a typical brightness of 480 nits and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The screen is covered with Panda MN228 glass to help the phone resist minor scratches.

The A57 4G is a sleek and lightweight phone, measuring 7.9mm thick and weighing 187 grams.Oppo has used what it calls a “Glow Design” which contributes to the shimmering look on the rear panel. It also has IP54 dust and water resistance.

Performance

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It is an octa-core SoC with a max clock speed of 2.3GHz and should serve you well for your basic daily tasks. 

Tt comes with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage. One positive deployment here is the phone comes with the latest ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.  

Cameras

There are two of them at the back. This consists of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP monochrome lens. On the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies. Both the front and rear cameras can record 1080p@30fps videos.

The phone up and running is a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The biometric option includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition.
